Winton East

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has two Green Party Councillors - Simon Bull, elected in May 2015, and re-elected in May 2019 alongside Chris Rigby.  Being on the Council enables them to not only represent the views of Winton East residents, but also to hold the Council to account on issues such as social justice and the Climate Emergency in decisions made across the whole Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole conurbation.  Simon and Chris have joined with the Lib Dems, Christchurch Independent Group, Poole People’s Party, Labour, and other Independents to form the Unity Alliance within BCP Unitary Authority.  Cllr Rigby has been appointed to the Overview, Scrutiny & Standards Committee and has been invited to work with Cllr Dr Felicity Rice on the issue of Environment & Climate Change, whilst Cllr Bull has secured the Chair of the Planning Committee.

Our Bulls Eye page lists Simon's activities between 2015 -2019, and on this page you will find news items, events, and articles relating to Councillors Bull and Rigby from 2019 onwards.
