South East Dorset Green Party

South East Dorset Green Party is active in the area covered by Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and the surrounding areas. We cover the 5 Parliamentary Constituencies of Bournemouth East, Bournemouth West, Christchurch, Poole, Mid Dorset and North Poole as well as part of the South Dorset constituency that sits within Purbeck District Council, and part of the North Dorset constituency that sits within East Dorset District Council.

Members' meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month, except December, from 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Moordown Community Centre, 21 Coronation Avenue, Bournemouth BH9 1TW.  All members are welcome, as well as anyone interested in finding out more about the local party. Details of these and other meetings, events and social gatherings can be found on the calendar on our Events page.

Simon BullCongratulations  Chris Rigbyto Simon Bull. formerly the only Green Councillor on BCP Council, who has been re-elected, together with Chris Rigby.  The first two councillors elected were Winton East Greens Simon Bull and Chris Rigby by a landslide 1,385 and 1,198 votes respectively; the Conservative incumbent came in third with 468.  Being on the Council enables them to not only represent the views of Winton East residents, but also to hold the Council to account on issues such as social justice and the Climate Emergency in decisions made across the whole Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole conurbation.

Please visit our Bull's Eye page to see what Simon Bull, Bournemouth's only Green Party Councillor for the last four years, has been doing during that time; and to see a summary of the achievements he has obtained for his residents, watch this short video.  And please visit our Winton East page to see what Simon and Chris are doing now!
